Hei, I have just downloaded Borland_c.5.5.zip from https://borland-c.software.informer.com/download/?lang=es, and unzipped it properly where it suits. When I click on freecommandlinetools.exe --or come to it through the shell--, I am requested to register at www.borland.com/bcppbuilder/wegreg, which is unavailable. What shall I do ?
When installing Borland C++ 5.2 in Windows 7 32bit, it shows the alert that a critical installation file (instxtra.pak) is missing or corrupted.

The installation package of your software might be corrupt and because of that you receive that error. I recommend to obtain the installation package and then reinstall the application.
This might be the only way since the instxtra.pak file doesn't appear to be available anymore.
Nowadays, there is another application that you can use as an alternative to Borland C++. It's called Visual Studio and it's much more comprehensive and feature updated.
I cant use the quotes key when I am programming in C++. Can you help me solve this issue?

The problem might be related with the keyboard layout. Advise closing the software, then go to Start > Control Panel. Use the search menu and type Regional. Open the Regional section, then go to Keyboard and remove any other layout added. Leave only the default one and accept the changes. Start Borland and everything should work fine now.
Yes, Borland C++ Compiler is compatible with Windows 10 64-bit.
